Trump's Big Need

  Thinking about it. Thinking about the President .of the United States of America.
   He is making so many mistakes. He is acting as a big business owner and not as a politician. I am not sure he will stop and listen.
   What he needs is to slow down and take a look at what needs to be done for the good of America. He was elected to be a President not a business man.

    As a business man he has been taught to bully the other companies and brand his company as better than the others. He is tearing down years and years of what has been built.
    Really he needs to start listening to God. The reason he is not, I have come to see, is because he doesn't know God.
    Someone needs to be brave enough to tell him and offer him a relationship with God. Then someone needs to ,after Trump humbles himself and asks Jesus into his life as his savior.. starting a relationship with God. instruct him how to seek God for direction.
    At the moment he doesn't know God and therefore can't hear God.
    We don't need more welfare and handout programs. We don't need to bully other nations. We need a person who is seeking peace but first he must know peace. Trump does not.
     I don't know how many are reading this. Drop a comment. Try to post in English. I don't read other languages. But do respond.

The Lamb of God

No longer was man in the garden. It was no longer easy for him to approach God. God did give them a way. Through sacrifice. Through a lamb. God even decided to work through a nation.
 In the garden he was working through Adam and Eve. They sinned. They were  the start of God's working in the world. But He had a bigger plan in mind.
 So he chose Abraham and made from him a nation. The journey now lead through many centuries and many lands. But Abraham was promised some day a land, a people and a redeemer.
 Remember--Abraham was near 100 when he had a son. From this son would come the Jews, a nation of God's choosing, A nation that was to bring about a redeemer.
  I realize I am making this simple. I want you to grasp what I am saying. Since these postings are covering the subject of doctrine, I wish to make it so the little child can grasp it.
  The people called Hebrews were charged to bring  God to the heathens around them. They were also to stay pure. Not marry other nation's women or do what the nations around them were doing. No idol worship. No making of idols, no false tales. No lying-- Bearing false witness.  They were given the ten commandments as guidelines. They broke them all.
   God provided priests and prophets to guide them. Few listened.
    God sent them into captivity so they would perhaps learn to listen to Him.
    Finally, as per the discussion They (The Godhead) had in eternity past, God Himself entered into humanity. He became a baby. He felt every thing as a man. He bleed when cut. He cried. He felt pain. He felt sorrow. He felt disgust  He was fully human. While at the same time He remained God. This is a mystery. It was just done.
  This does not mean we humans are little gods. We aren't. We have within our bodies a broken sinful nature. God, who was given the human name, Jesus, did not have sin. By not having the seed of an earthly father, a male who carried the sin seed, He alone was born sinless. His human mother, Mary, had the seed of sin in her. But sin was not transferred to Jesus.
    He lived thirty years here on the human plan fully man, fully God-- as I said above. Then He was killed on a cross. Buried in a tomb. On the third day after he was put in the tomb, He came out.
     In a body He rose back to heaven. He will come back again some day soon.
     Man can now approach God because of what God has done not what man does.

All Is Not Lost

  

   Now the great rescue is put in place. Man has sinned. that is, sin is disobedience to God's command. Adam and Eve had been told not to eat of that tree. And they had.
   And the outcome was death or separation from God. No longer could they have fellowship with Him. God is too holy and pure. Man lost his innocence. He was not to have learned evil that way.
   That did not mean he lost the image. That got bent and distorted. From now on when ever he was to try to conceive of God he would sense something greater and wish to make contact, but he would be unable to. So he would make images of what he conceived this god in his image to be.
    God wanted to restore to man what he had in the garden. In fact God--, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,  had the solution already prepared, They had discussed this among themselves long before creation.
     It would take the death of an innocent, sinless, creature. In the long run, God Himself would die on the cross for the sins of mankind. But at this point , since man was not able to fellowship with Him, God had to slowly work within history to woo mankind back to Him.
    It was through blood that man could even attempt to approach God now. God  Himself killed an innocent creature to clothe Adam and Eve before He drove them out of the garden. He instructed Adam and Eve that a sacrifice was needed to  approach Him. Each and every time.
     You see, God had given man something called free will. That meant he  could choose to obey or not  That is what the thing in the garden was all about. Man used his free will to not obey God. And men today do the same thing.
     So, how are you doing? The story continues. Since this is a doctrine blog now  for, I don't know how long,hang in there. More cool doctrines to come. And you can still comment to me and I will attempt to clarify for you .

Starting Our Study With Paul

Study to show yourself approaved

It has been a while. Yes. And I have been posting study methods.
 I have decided to now move into a book of the Bible using the methods of study so as to instruct.
 Let us start with the epistle to the Romans.  It is the first letter after the book of Acts in the portion of the Bible known as the New Testament.
 We see it is written by a fellow named Paul to a group of people in Rome.
  So using the question method to crack it open we first ask who is this person named Paul? (Who wrote it?)
  He was born a Jew. He studied to be a Pharisee. A Pharisee emphasized the observance of the Mosaic law in both oral and written forms. He was the best of the best. He was there at the murder of Stephen by stoning. He was the one who held the coats of the executioners. He had to make sure the killing was kosher.
It was he who wanted to kill all Christians and he even got a permit to do so. On the way to the city of Damascus he was met by Jesus in a bright light and blinded. "And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul (That was his name) Saul, why are you persecuting me?" And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And HE said,"I am Jesus whom, you are persecuting."
 Saul was lead to Straight Street and there he was given his sight back. He also became a believer in Jesus Christ and also became a child of God, A Christian then.
  Who better than an expert in the scriptures to be writing this epistle that concerns the  gospel? The gospel is that Jesus was crucified according to the scriptures and was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures.
  Now as to the book.
  It starts out with Paul calling himself a bond-servant. A bond-servant, we find out when we consult our Bible Dictionary, is a free agent who decides to be a servant of someone else. Called as an Apostle- an apostle was someone who saw the Lord. See above for how he saw him and what qualifies him to make this statement. Set apart for the gospel. He had a purpose for being called. We should expect the rest of this letter to expand on that.
  Paul was a very learned man. By the time he got to writing this letter to the Romans whom he has not yet seen but has heard about, his theology has been developed by study and interaction with people,to a point he could explain it. After all, as a Pharisee he knew how to teach.
  In the coming posts I may go slow and fast at times depending on the chapters and the content. Not that there is any less important scripture portion but because I may feel the need to explain deeper in some places over others.
  Read along and do your own study work. Anticipate and communicate.

Bible Reading-Three

  Of course for us who have a relationship with God through the finished work of Jesus Christ, it is important we know who it is we are thankful to.
   The Bible contains four snapshots of Jesus.
   Each snapshot is there for a different emphasis. Matthew is writen to the Jews to show that  this Jesus is the fulfillment of the Messainic promises. Mark shows Jesus as active, a busy person. Luke is more detailed and pictures Jesus as the perfect man. John takes a different route and shows Jesus is the eternal God in flesh.
    They are not meant to be exhaustive.
     Paul writes: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ ,for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek." That is Romans 1:16 and is useful to memorize.
    Mark tellls us that Jesus gave us a task.That is to preach the gospel to all creatures. Now, gospel means good news. In this case it is central to God's plan. The gospel is that through the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God can now redeem people. He no longer has to deal with mankind in wrath.
It was this that the trinity was agreeing to way back in eternity past, way before Genesis 1:1.
    It is this we must agree to. God has provided no other way.
    And He comunicated and set it all down in the scriptures. The least we can do is read it.
